Tom has over 25 years of experience in the Crane & Rigging Industry. He was a member of the Rigging Task Force for the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), and is currently an active participant of the Rigger Program Management Committee. He is an NCCCO Certified Level II rigger and an accredited rigger practical examiner. Tom is a rigging Subject Matter Expert (SME) and uses his extensive knowledge in field rigging skills to conduct training sessions and promote rigging safety. Tom is the Vice-President of the Rigging Institute, LLC and the Association of Crane and Rigging Professionals (ACRP). He also sits on the Board of Directors of the ACRP.
As an Outside Product Advisor and Instructor Tom was a top performer for I&I Sling, Inc., and in 2006 was promoted to Director of sales. Tom also works as the Senior Application Consultant for Slingmax® Rigging Solutions. Tom’s heaviest lift responsibility to date is 714 metric tons. He has developed many rigging programs and lift plans for various industry sectors including Nuclear Power Generation, Marine & Offshore, Construction, Manufacturing and Shipbuilding industries.
