Robert has 38 years of experience in the Construction Industry. His tenure gave Robert experience working in a variety of crafts, including Iron Worker, Boilermaker, and Equipment Operator. Robert’s career began in the US Navy where he served as a Hull Technician. His developed skills as a welder/fitter and Damage Control man were carried over into his roles within the construction industry.
Robert has spent the last 14 years applying his expertise in the Power Generation Industry, with a focus on installations and maintenance (Gas, Steam, and Wind). Since 1990, Robert has taken his real life experiences to the classroom as an instructor of both construction and safety courses. Additionally, the past 7 years Robert has worked full time as an EHS professional. He is a current member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). Robert joins Rigging Institute LLC as an instructor for our Rigging and Equipment Operator courses.
