  • Rigging Engineer Review

This course consists of 24 hours of intense study covering advanced rigging applications, crane set-up, lift
plan development and review preparing the student to safely and efficiently complete load handling
ac-tivities. The course prepares safety professionals & rigging engineers to safely plan and oversee
rigging activities that requires written lift plans. The participant will be instructed on sling and hardware
efficiencies and application, the calculation of center of gravities, tensions applied to rigging gear used on
symmetric and non-symmetric loads, headroom limitations, load weight estimation and rigging design.
Workshops in-cluding center of gravity location, sling and hardware loading, and rigging design which
will utilize the knowledge learned throughout this training.
This course is structured for safety professionals and rigging engineers who wish to increase their
understanding of the science and art of crane and rigging. Students will be touring Lampson International and
have an opportunity to do limited crane operation the final afternoon of the training.
